The Southern Ethiopia Agricultural Research Institute (SEARI) successfully conducted an evaluation last week on research activities executed under the 2017 E.C. regional government-funded projects.
During the assessment, the Institute reviewed more than 60 completed research activities carried out in the physical year. The evaluation revealed ample and valuable findings, demonstrating significant contributions to the region’s agricultural development. Notably, around 50% of the completed research outputs have already been translated into package development, strengthening the link between research and practical application for farmers and stakeholders.
SEARI remains committed to ensuring that government-funded research directly supports innovation, productivity, and sustainable agricultural growth in Southern Ethiopia. The Institute will continue to work closely with regional partners to accelerate the dissemination of proven technologies and enhance their impact at the community level.
